In the third quarter of 2022 the gross domestic product was $1.22T MX, 10.5% less than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2022, Coal Mining registered 85 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Coahuila de Zaragoza (70), Sonora (7), and Chihuahua (2).

For its part, total income reached $10.4B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Coahuila de Zaragoza ($10.3B MX) and Sonora ($85.5M MX).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  65 economic units were totaled in Coal Mining, highlighting Coahuila de Zaragoza (54), Sonora (6), and Baja California (1).

Total gross production was $10.6B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Coahuila de Zaragoza ($10.6B MX) and Sonora ($85.5M MX).

Total income reached $10.4B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Coahuila de Zaragoza ($10.3B MX) and Sonora ($85.5M MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Coal Mining had a total of 31 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Sabinas (28) and San Javier (3)

Total income eached $487M MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Sabinas ($460M MX) and San Javier ($27M MX).

Total expenditures were $209M MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Sabinas ($198M MX) and San Javier ($10.6M MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 714 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Sabinas (697) and San Javier (17).
