The main product bought by Mexico from Panama in 2022 was Oils of Petroleum or Bituminous Minerals (US$38.5M). The main destinations of purchases made to Panama were Ciudad de México (US$64M), Jalisco (US$18.8M), and Guanajuato (US$2.55M).

In the period January to December 2022, the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Panama to Mexico is US$43.5M. In the same period, the states that received the highest FDI from Panama were San Luis Potosí (Confidential), Ciudad de México (US$9.01M), and Baja California Sur (Confidential).

Regarding remittances, in the fourth quarter of 2022, Mexico received US$7.43M in remittances from Panama, while Panama received US$1.15M in remittances from Mexico.
